ARE YOU TRYING OUT FOR A COMP SOFTBALL TEAM?

LYSBA will be holding tryouts for the following Fall 2026 comp softball options (your child cannot tryout unless they've registered and have signed our waivers + please have them show up early enough to be warm and ready to start play right when the tryout time begins):

• FIRST YEAR 12U LOUISVILLE HEAT (Coach Danny and Coach Mikey)

After an amazing year at comp 10u, the Heat are aging up to be a first year 12u comp team.  Their tryouts will be on June 26th from 4:30 - 6:30 p @ Heritage Park on West Cherry St. in Louisville (80027).   IF this tryout date won't work for you, you can directly contact the Heat coaches to ask questions or figure out other tryout options.  dmaguire09@gmail.com or raudenbushn@gmail.com

• SECOND YEAR 12U LOUISVILLE MINERS (Coach Kris and Coach John)

Now in their fourth comp season, the Miners are holding tryouts on July 13th from 5 - 7 p @ LSC #4 - 1200 Courtesy Rd. 80027 and on July 14th at Heritage Park (see address above). • FIRST YEAR 14U LOUISVILLE MUSTANGS (Coach Ross and Coach Tyler)

Now in their seventh comp season, the Mustangs will be moving to 14u in the fall and will hold tryouts on June 30th from 5 - 7:30 p @ Heritage Park (see address above) and will otherwise schedule private tryouts, should 6/30/26 not work.  You can directly contact the Mustangs coach to ask questions lysbatreasurer@gmail.com.  If you are a rec player, that's great!  Coach Ross just needs to speak with your rec coach before you can register to tryout.

• IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A COMP BASEBALL TEAM

COMP BASEBALL typically transitions to LYSBA after an MLL Little League team ages out of LL and is looking for an association to help support them as they become an older travel team.   LYSBA doesn't hold open tryouts for comp baseball unless requested by an existing LYSBA coach.
